After sixteen brutal years of struggling with an eating disorder, I came to the realization that life could get better if I worked to promote a healthy relationship with myself and food. Three years into recovery, I can say whole heartedly that it was worth it! Having anorexia and exercising until I couldn't move got me nowhere, and now I am working to be an advocate for anyone in those shoes. Everyone deserves to feel joy and happiness, in my mind.
Since deciding to nourish my body, brain and soul, I graduated from Iowa with a Masters of Science in Business Analytics. Now you can catch me working as a Data Scientist for Source Allies, using my brain at full capacity. I live with my boyfriend (and biggest supporter) and my mini goldendoodle Greg!
