Introducing NEW Professional Membership Opportunity to the EDCI Community

We are thrilled to announce a new opportunity for professionals in Iowa to be more connected to EDCI and our offerings. We invite licensed/certified professionals who treat eating disorders to join EDCI as a Professional Member. As a member, you will receive the following benefits:


  • Qualified members will be allowed one provider listing on the EDCI Website, which will include a logo, business name and preferred contact information.

  • An exclusive logo to display on their own materials, email signature or website.

  • Access to the NEW provider listserv to use for consultation, connection and referrals.(Adherence to listserv rules will be a requirement to maintain access to listserv privileges).

  • Access to a monthly virtual consultation group led by a qualified professional

  • A minimum 15% registration discount for EDCI events, conferences and seminars.

  • Access to one free CE opportunity (one credit hour) per year.

Professional Member Dues: $75 per year

Membership will renew July 1st of each year.

Should you choose to not renew your membership, your provider listing will be removed from our website. You are welcome to rejoin EDCI as a Professional Member at any point in time!

Qualified Professional Member Applicants include any provider who provides direct services to persons or families impacted by eating disorders and is currently licensed/certified by a State of Iowa health-related Board. Mental health professionals must have a master’s degree or higher. Nutritionist/Dietitian professionals must hold state licensure as a Registered Dietitian. For professional members seeking a provider listing on the EDCI website, we request applicants have familiarity with the HAESⓇ model and do not prescribe weight loss practices in their treatment of individuals with eating disorders. If you are not familiar with these practices, you are still welcome to join EDCI as a Professional Member without a provider listing on our website. To be a Professional Member with a provider listing, you will need to sign a Statement of Practice during the application process.
